Welcome to the PopCap Developer Program!The purpose of the PopCap Developer Program is to contribute to the indie game community by allowing free access to the programming Framework we've successfully based our own games on. We hope that by reducing technical barriers we help developers to focus more on actual game design instead of compatibility bugs and multimedia programming issues. This will hopefully allow people to make better games, which helps the entire indie/casual game market (including PopCap). We just feel it’s the right thing to do, to "give something back" to the community if we can. There are only a few things that we ask in return for using our Framework. The framework's license agreement places simple formal constraints on its usage, such as requiring you to put an acknowledgement in your documentation indicating that you used the PopCap Games Framework.
